It's not glamorous.

It won't make you thinner.

It won't change the shape of your body.

But it can change the shape of a life...

Health professionals know that folic acid, a common, inexpensive B-vitamin, can reduce the occurrence of spina bifida and other neural tube defects by up to 85%.

However, many women don't understand the link between the vitamin and the defect-until it's too late.

Now a new video is getting the word out. Closing the Gap, 0.4 Mg of Prevention takes viewers inside the lives of families affected by spina bifida. You'll hear their stories and learn firsthand from researchers and doctors. Vivid graphics and clear language make it all easy to understand.

Closing the Gap is for health professionals, educators and community groups.

It's a must-see for all women of childbearing age.

Help close the knowledge gap.

Because what we don't know can hurt us.
