Central Integrated Regional Health Authority is seeking a full-time Internist for the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL.

James Paton Memorial Hospital, consisting of 100 beds hospital at Gander, is the regional referral centre. It is a busy acute care institution offering the following range of services: ambulatory care; emergency; diagnostic, including a Picture Archiving and Communications System to the satellite hospitals in Fogo, Twillingate, and Brookfield, as well as CT and bone densitometry, surgical program (general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology); obstetrics/gynecology; pediatrics; internal medicine and primary care.

Physicians receive assistance with relocation, licensure and immigration concerns. An annual retention bonus increases over 36 months.

Internists must be eligible for full or provisional licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
