INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST

 SIR THOMAS RODDICK HOSPITAL

STEPHENVILLE, NL

The Western Regional Integrated Health Authority currently requires an Internal Medicine Specialist to work on a permanent full-time basis at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, Newfoundland. 

The Internal Medicine Specialist will be responsible for inpatient/outpatient Internal Medicine Services, Stress Testing and involvement in the Care of Renal Dialysis patients.  The successful incumbent will be required to provide on call to the community of a 1:2 basis.

The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital is a 44 bed acute care hospital on the beautiful West Coast of Newfoundland and is located approximately one hour away from the Regional Referral Centre in Corner Brook.  Stephenville is a modern progressive community of approximately 8,000 people and includes such amenities as an airport, a modern shopping mall, recreation facilities, Arts and Culture Centre and a Community College. The Hospital itself serves a catchment population of approximately 25,000.  We are located close to the sea and Stephenville is an ideal location for outdoor recreation.
