The Labrador-Grenfell
Regional Integrated Health Authority is seeking the services of an Anesthetist
for the Capt. Wm. Jackman Memorial Hospital in Labrador City.

Hospital
is located in Labrador
City-Wabush, a community of 12,000. As
the wealthiest community in
Canada
, there are many
amenities. The facility maintains 30
beds which includes 15 long term care beds.
The services provided include: acute
care, diagnostic services, dietetic services, emergency, general surgery,
obstetrics and gynecology, primary care, long-term and continuing and various
visiting specialists as well as allied health professions.
Medical staffing consists of six general practitioners/family physicians,
the anesthetist and the general surgeon.
Assistance with
relocation, licensure and immigration concerns. An annual retention bonus
increases from annually over a 36 month period.
Physicians must be
eligible for full or provisional licensure by the
College
of
Physicians
and Surgeons of Newfoundland and
Labrador
.
